It’s Time for 100 Days of Code!

After taking a break from studying and coding I am jumping back in with the #100daysofcode challenge. I am so excited to be doing this and documenting my journey on here, I can’t wait to get started!

During my 100 days I will be using a few different sites for my learning purposes, my focus is game development…at least it is at the moment. I tried this challenge before but never made it past day 13 and I think it’s because while web development would certainly open more job opportunities its not where my passion is. I am a gamer so this time i’m focusing on what I know best. The sites that I will be using are Udemy.com, I have a couple of game development courses that I will be using, I went with two different instructors so I can see which teaching style fits me the best. Codecombat.com is slightly geared towards kids and young adults, however I find the way they make the code into a game helpful in seeing how the code is supposed to function, many games use JavaScript and that is what I have trouble with so Codecombat.com and Freecodecamp.com are my main JavaScript lessons.

I want to know if you have done this challenge before or if you are doing it now. How long did you code a day? Did you complete any projects? What platforms did you use to learn and code? I cant wait to hear your thoughts and experiences in the comments.
